back in 1999 i started "vjing" just with a videoprojector and a camera at home inspired by the book "Gödel, Escher, Bach" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6del%2C_Escher%2C_Bach)

with the vj-crew "bildstörung" i did a looooot of live vj-giggs, some business events, several installations and productions. more here: http://bildstoerung.ch

in 2007 we founded the swiss vj label & network "videokultur" (http://www.videokultur.ch) together with other swiss vjcrews around and 2008 i started the videopong project, that you're watching .

for me vjing is always very experimental: special setup, screens, room-concepts or also to play around with hardware, feedbacks, different input signals, analog, hacking, programming... just fuzzing around: FUN!
